Disney Distilled Episode #16

Greetings Distillers! The Disney Distilled Podcast is back for your listening (and drinking) pleasure.

Mac & Ryan are with you once again to drink their way through some Disney News and some great Listener Questions!

To get us through this episode, we turn to the Lost On Safari- a specialty drink from Animal Kingdom’s Yak & Yeti Restaurant Bar.

Ingredients:

1 part Captain Morgan Spiced rum, 1 part Bacardi rum, 4 parts  Pangani Punch (3 parts Dole Pineapple Orange Strawberry juice and 1 part cranberry juice)

Add Captain Morgan, Bacardi and Pangani Punch to a shaker with ice. Shake and pour into glass.

Disney Distilled Episode #10

Hello, lovers! Episode #10 of the Disney Distilled Podcast is for you!

In honor of the upcoming Valentine’s Day, we’re joined by guest-host Dave Tavers, owner and founder of MouseMingle.com– the internet’s ONLY Disney-themed dating site!

For this episode, in honor of our guest, we indulge in a non-alcoholic drink, the Flying Yak from the new Thirsty River Bar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

The Flying Yak is one of a few non-alcoholic drinks you can purchase at the Thirsty River Bar!

Ingredients:
Mango Puree
Pineapple Juice
Coconut Water

Directions:
Combine ingredients with Ice into a blender. Blend until smooth.
(for additional kick, add booze of your choice!)

Greetings and Salutations, Distillers! Welcome to Episode #8 of the Disney Distilled Podcast!

Our Spooky Halloween themed drink for this episode is titled: The Death Certificate from Facebook.com/CircleOfVillians!

Ingredients:
1 oz Gin
1 oz Midori
1 oz white cranberry juice
Garnish: purple sugar, gummy worm, marshmallow ghost

Directions:
Rim glass with sugar, combine ingredients into shaker with ice & pour into martini glass. Garnish with gummy worm & marshmallow ghost

This time, we are joined by our guest (g)host, Miss Chrissy Lynn– special effects make-up and hair stylist supreme! She joins us just in time for some spooky reviews of local Southern California theme park Haunts- including Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland!

We also have news from Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and even Cedar Fair’s Great America!

Lastly, we start our recurring segment of Dining Distilled- reviews of Disney restaurants, beginning with Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Disney Distilled Episode #7

Disney Distilled has returned from a trek around Disney’s world with news from far off lands- and a bit of a hangover!

This episode’s Featured Drink is: The Pear Martini (formerly) from Walt Disney World (recipe from PartyThroughTheParks.com)

Pear Martini
The Pear Martini – now a part of Yesterland’s bar menu.

Ingredients:

1 ounce Hendrick’s Gin
1 ounce Glenfiddich 12yr
1 ounce Monin Pear Syrup
1 Simple Syrup made with Agave Nectar
0.5 Lemon Juice

Directions:

Pour ingredients over ice in a shaker and add the juice from half a lemon. Shake, strain and serve in a martini glass.
