Disney Distilled Episode #26

Greetings Distillers! Your hosts Mac & Ryan are back from their world travels to bring you booze and news (and reviews) from the Far East!

Our featured cocktail for this episode is the Sakura Gin & Tonic!

The Sakura liqueur we found in Tokyo makes for a delightful addition to the standard Gin & Tonic!

Ingredients:

3oz Gin
4oz Tonic Water
2oz Sakura blossom liqueur
Maraschino cherries

Directions:

Combine gin, tonic water and liqueur over ice. Garnish with Maraschino cherry.

Disney Distilled Episode #22

Greetings Distillers! Disney Distilled is back with another episode, guest-hosted by our friends Justin Zagri and Liana Minassian! Justin is a writer/director and his better half Liana is a writer/producer/photgrapher, both making great projects in Hollywood(check out Severus Snape & the Mauraders)!

Our featured drink for this episode is the famous Lapu Lapu served at the Tambu Lounge at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in Walt Disney World!

Ingredients:

2pt Myers Dark Rum
2pt Pineapple Juice
3pt Orange Juice
1pt Sweet and Sour
1pt floater of 151

Directions:

Mix rum, juice and sweet & sour. Pour into hollowed out pineapple with ice. Top with 151. Enjoy!

Disney Distilled Episode #18

Greetings Distillers! We are back with more Disney Distilled- news and booze for you to choose. Mac & Ryan are joined by Guest Host Brian Miller, artist and Sith Propagandist. Brian does a lot of color work for Marvel Comics, and some great images for Star Wars, amongst other properties. You can probably find him at your local comic convention!

For our featured cocktail this episode is the Kentucky Mule from Disney California Adventure’s The Cove Bar!

The Kentucky Mule (ours did not look like these)

Ingredients:

2 oz bourbon (we used Maker’s Mark)
.5 oz Fresh lime juice
Ginger beer
Ice

Directions:

Add the bourbon and lime juice to a Moscow Mule mug or a highball glass. Fill the mug or glass with ice and top with ginger beer.

Greetings and Salutations, Distillers! Welcome to Episode #8 of the Disney Distilled Podcast!

Ingredients:
1 oz Gin
1 oz Midori
1 oz white cranberry juice
Garnish: purple sugar, gummy worm, marshmallow ghost

Directions:
Rim glass with sugar, combine ingredients into shaker with ice & pour into martini glass. Garnish with gummy worm & marshmallow ghost

This time, we are joined by our guest (g)host, Miss Chrissy Lynn– special effects make-up and hair stylist supreme! She joins us just in time for some spooky reviews of local Southern California theme park Haunts- including Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland!

We also have news from Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and even Cedar Fair’s Great America!

Lastly, we start our recurring segment of Dining Distilled- reviews of Disney restaurants, beginning with Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Welcome back to Disney Distilled, where we are proud to drunkenly bring you stories from around the world of Disney!

This episode’s Featured Drink is: The Lost Boy from Cocktails By Cody on Facebook!

Cocktails By Cody’s excellent Lost Boy!

Ingredients:

1 oz. Midori
1 oz. Peach Schnapps
1 1/2 oz. Malibu
2 oz. Sprite
Yellow/Gold Sugar
Cherry Airheads

Directions:

Mix ingredients into a shaker full of ice, shake until cold, and strain into martini glass rimmed with sugar and garnished with carved Airhead feather.
