Disney Distilled Episode #11

Greetings Distillers! Salutations and welcome back to Disney Distilled!

For Episode #11, we took a road trip to the City By The Bay- San Francisco- and met up with Guest-Host Lee Presson, Disney fanatic and musical maestro of Lee Presson and the Nails!

This episode, we take a trip away from the usual Disney menu and join Lee  to enjoy a refreshing Rye Press (get it?)

The simple, but delicious Rye Press! Perfect for a getaway weekend!

Ingredients:

Rye Whiskey

Soda Water

Ginger Ale

Combine ingredients in glass with ice, stir. Strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with cherries.

Lee is a Bay area local who not only digs Disney in a big way, but is also the leader of the popping-est swing band you’ll ever set ears on! Disney Distilled Episode #4

Welcome back to Disney Distilled, where we are proud to drunkenly bring you stories from around the world of Disney!

This episode’s Featured Drink is: Carthay Diamond Manhattan (60th Anniversary Cocktail) from the Carthay Circle Lounge in Disney California Adventure

Two nearly perfect Carthay Diamond Manhattans

Ingredients:

2 1/2 oz Bulleit Rye Small Batch American Whiskey
3/4 oz Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth
1 dash of Angostura Bitters
Luxardo Gourmet Maraschino Cherries
served with a Diamond shaped Ice, made from locally sourced Purified Water

Directions:
Combine the vermouth, bourbon whiskey, and bitters with 2 – 3 ice cubes in a mixing glass. Stir gently, don’t bruise the spirits and cloud the drink. Place the cherry in a chilled cocktail glass and strain the whiskey mixture over the cherry.
