Disney Distilled Episode #30

Greetings Distillers! Ryan & Mac have ventured far and wide to bring you news from around the Disney World!

The Tropical Macaw from the ever popular Tambu Loungs- with added swizzle from Tiki Tony and California Lustre!

This week, we feature the Tropical Macaw from the Tambu Lounge at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!

Ingredients:

1pt Parrot Bay Coconut Rum

1pt Midori

Add Ice

2pt Pineapple Juice

2pt Cranberry Juice

Crushed ice

Directions:

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Serve over crushed ice! (ours are garnished with nifty swizzle sticks from Tiki Tony and California Lustre)

Disney Distilled Episode #29

All the juices juice and the booze it hums, in the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum!

This week, our featured drink is the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum featured in BOTH Trader Sam’s!

Ingredients:

2oz dark rum

1 ½ oz coconut cream

11/2 oz pineapple

1oz orange juice

Crushed ice

Garnished with cinnamon & nutmeg

Directions:

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Serve over crushed ice and garnish with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Ingredients:

1 pt Champagne
1 pt Orange Juice

Directions:

Combine champagne and juice in a fluted glass. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.

This episode we discuss some recent Disney news from the Best Coast including details on the Pixar Pier reboot and upcoming 5-diamond resort hotel. Then we move on to Walt Disney World to talk new attractions and shows. Finally, we talk with Chris & Rachael about their first visit to Orlando’s best theme park, Walt Disney World!

Disney Distilled Episode #25

Greetings Distillers! We are back with another new episode, with guest-host and friend of the show Chris Dorman!

We travel the World Showcase, stopping in Morocco for our featured drink, the Sahara Splash!

Our version of the Sahara Splash needed a bit of sprucing up- so if you have some light-up ice cubes, go ahead and toss them in!

Ingredients:

1oz vodka
1oz Midori
2oz cranberry juice
1oz seltzer

Directions:

Combine vodka, midori and cranberry juice over ice. Top with seltzer and stir.

Lots of news from all over the worlds of Disney, including Walt Disney World, Disneyland and the wilds of internet streaming servcies. We also visit some non-Disney theme park news, all leading up to our Big Story – is Indiana Jones taking a trip to the Animal Kingdom?

Disney Distilled Episode #24

Greetings Distillers! From the dog days of summer, Episode #24 of Disney Distilled brings you Disney booze and news that you can use!

The Dill Gin & Tonic, served here in a very non-traditional way, can be found on the menu at the Carthay Circle Lounge!

This episode, we head back to Disney California Adventure- to the Carthay Circle Lounge for a Dill Gin & Tonic!

Ingredients:

2 oz. gin
1⁄2 oz. pickle brine
3 oz. tonic
Dill frond, for garnish
Lemon twist, for garnish

Directions:

Combine 2 oz. gin and ½ oz. pickle brine in a rocks glass over 1 large ice cube; top with 3 oz. tonic. Garnish with dill frond, and lemon twist.

Since we are a bit behind on Disney news- we’re choosing to use this episode to cover the D23 Disney Parks and Resorts panel announcements and then discuss the heated subject of the changes being made to the Pirates of the Caribbean Auction Scene.
